The Tasman Peninsula, located in south-east Tasmania, is surrounded by the Tasman Sea to the south and east, Storm Bay to the west and to the north by Norfolk Bay. The coastline, largely covered by national park, is made up of spectacular dolerite cliffs, beautiful sandy beaches and sheltered bays, making it an ideal paddling destination.
We’ll encounter an abundance of flora and fauna, both on the water and on short but spectacular walks. Our base is a beachside private lodge built for peace, privacy and comfort. Join us on a Tassie escape with four wonderful days exploring the diversity of the Peninsula’s natural landscapes.

The Freycinet Peninsula, located on Tasmania’s east coast, is one of Australia’s most iconic national parks. The scenery is spectacular, with clear turquoise water, white sandy beaches and secret coves, all framed by a craggy granite mountain range.
Some proposed highlights of the trip include paddling to Schouten Island, exploring the inaccessible eastern coastline and a hike to Mt Freycinet, the highest point on the Peninsula. Join us on this six day adventure as we paddle, hike and camp in one of Australia’s most amazing coastal environments.

Tasmania is the perfect place to witness the annual whale migration as Humpback and Southern Right travel up and down the coast between May and November. The far reaching Tasman Peninsula, (just a few kilometres from the continental shelf), is a renowned destination for whale sightings, world class sea kayaking and hiking.
We’ve brought all these elements together for a very special trip! Our days will be filled with the best paddling options, with the possibility of a visit from migrating humpbacks, combined with short but spectacular cliff-top hikes to allow us to watch for whales from up high. This adventure includes a half day whale watching cruise to access outlying islands and inaccessible coastlines.
Our base for three nights is a beachside cosy cottage where we experience peace, privacy and comfort.
