Relax at Anchor- in secluded bays where magnificent coastal scenery and wildlife abound. Wander ashore on pristine islands or lounge on a deck where you can indulge in the flavour of the fresh local seafood, beverages and produce provided.

Book a Cruise- and join other discerning guests for a three-hour sunset sail, a day-long sailing adventure or overnight chartered sail through protected island waters. You can also tailor your own Tasmanian sailing cruise (minimum of two persons per trip) or book an exclusive charter.

SAILTAS’ yacht “Sea G” is in full commercial survey and licensed to carry up to 12 passengers in comfort with an experienced and fully qualified skipper and crew.

Skippered Sailing Tours of Bruny Island and Tasmania’s east coast and south-west Wilderness. Bruny Island Day Sail (Kettering – Bruny Island return )

Sail the D’Entrecasteaux Channel around north Bruny Island, typically stopping at Dennes Point and Adventure Bay or some of the other special bays and inlets the Island has to offer. Dolphins and whales (in season) are often sighted along with Seals and abundant birdlife which will compete with the stunning scenery for your attention.

We will choose the best route for the day’s conditions and will find a sheltered bay to anchor for a sumptuous lunch of Tasmanian food and beverages with opportunities for swimming or sightseeing ashore. Leaving the Public Jetty, Kettering at 10:00 returning around 16:00. The trip is 6 hours in duration. It includes a lunch hamper with a glass of wine/beer soft drink. (we can cater for single bookings however we require a minimum of two persons per trip)

A perfect way to finish the day, leaving Kettering at 17:00 we sail the D’Entrecasteaux Channel.
The light at this time of day will give you the opportunity to take some truly memorable photographs of Bruny Island in Tasmania’s long summer twilight.

Enjoy the excitement of sailing the vessel or just sit back and relax in comfort and enjoy the sumptuous scenery. Cheese platter and a glass of wine/beer/soft drink provided.

Leaving the Public Jetty, Kettering at 17:00 returning around 20:00. The trip is 3 hours in duration. Tour includes a cheese platter with a glass of wine/beer soft drink.

Sail south with us along the spectacular D’Entrecasteaux Channel to South Bruny Island or the Huon River for bushwalking, snorkelling and surfing adventures. Dolphins, seals, and whales (in season) are often sighted, which along with the stunning scenery, compete for your attention.

Being on the ocean at night and away from the city’s glow is spectacular. When looking at the water’s reflection stars beam back at the twinkling stars above. You may even see the glow of phosphorescence as our boat glides through the waters that team with marine life. You will have time to reflect and relax after an adventurous days activity on water or land.

Port Arthur Kettering – Port Arthur return (two days and one night).

Two days and one night trip. On the first day we sail through Storm Bay at the mouth of the Derwent and around the stunning scenery of the Tasman Peninsula to drop anchor in Port Arthur for an overnight stay.

There will be a chance to go ashore on the morning of day two to explore the famous Port Arthur Prison site before returning to Kettering in the afternoon.

Maria Island Kettering – Maria Island Return (5 days 4 nights).

This is a five day, four-night trip. We sail through Storm Bay to Port Arthur and then past stunning Tasman Island onto Fortescue Bay where there will be opportunities to walk part of the Three Capes Track to Cape Hauy.

Next, we head north to Maria Island and some bushwalking in this spectacular National Park before returning via Dunnalley Canal and into Norfolk Bay where we will anchor off the historic convict Coal Mines before returning on day five to Kettering.
